In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
